Borgo Lucignanello Bandini isn’t a single villa but an entire village — a cluster of honey-coloured stone houses, panoramic terraces and Renaissance gardens perched above the vineyards and cypress avenues of the Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO-listed landscape and one of the most photographed corners of Italy. Because the borgo can be booked exclusively, couples effectively have a whole Tuscan hamlet to themselves, with a swimming pool, elegant interiors and room for guests to stay across a long celebration weekend.

As a wedding videographer, I look for places with light, texture and a sense of story — and Borgo Lucignanello has all three.
